11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
Firstly, the thesis proposes the framework of wastes in the operation of service enterprises in Vietnam. The research aims to research about restaurants and supermarkets. The results of the analysis show the feasibility of applying the framework of wastes in service enterprises in Vietnam.
Secondly, the thesis analyzed and introduced several methods to effectively implement Lean in services in Vietnam.
Finally, the thesis has made practical contributions in proposing how to apply lean in-service enterprises in Vietnam by reducing wastes. Enterprises, which have not yet applied for lean management, can refer to how they can use lean for their businesses. Enterprise using lean can refer for effective solution to improve the effectiveness of lean application.
12. Practical applicability:
The thesis has made practical contributions in proposing how to apply lean in-service enterprises in Vietnam by reducing wastes. The proposed framework has been implemented by one successful case.
13. Further research directions:
Further research will be conducted in further business in service areas and also be studied to find out the leaniness index to evaluate the current situation of service enterprises.
