Working with Korean research institutes and universities
On 23rd January, 2018, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with representatives of research institutes and universities from Korea.
Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Ki-Chan Kim - President of ICSB and Chairman of Innovative Economy Division, National Economic Advisory Council; Mr. Lee Jeong Hee - President of Korean Association of Small and Medium Studies; Professor Il Im from Yonsei University, Business School; Professor Lee Il Han from Business School of Chung Ang University.
From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Vice Dean of Faculty of International Business and Economics; MSc. Nguyen Duc Lam - Deputy Head of Research and Partnership Development.
The meeting is an opportunity for Korean guests and representatives of UEB to exchange cooperation opportunities in training, research and other areas of mutual interest.

At the meeting, Prof. Il Im of Yonsei University proposed the plan to send Yonsei’s MBA students to Vietnam for short course/exchange program. At the same time, representatives of the two research institutes and leaders of the UEB share the research field to find mutual-interest topics for joint research.
Discussing with the international guests, UEB leaders expressed the wish to promote the proposed cooperation activities. Meanwhile, UEB and representatives from Korean universities and institutes pledged to exchange more information to actualize the idea of cooperation in the coming future.
