Lecturers of the UEB honored to receive award for excellent female researchers
On 7th March 2017, the Union of Vietnam National University in collaboration with VNU Division for the Advancement of Women held the ceremony to honor and award nine excellent female researchers from members of VNU. Two lecturers of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB), including Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien and Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung from Faculty of Accounting and Auditing honored to receive the award.
The award promotes excellent female staff and lecturers for their efforts and achievements in researches of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This year, the award identified female researchers/scientists under 40 year old with doctoral degree who made outstanding contribution to the University.

Two lecturers of the UEB receiving the award had amazing achievement in research. Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien is head of 1 research project at VNU level and 3 projects at UEB level. She is also author of 2 textbooks and reference books, 2 articles on international journal, 6 articles on domestic journals, 6 papers on proceedings of national and international conferences. Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung had 1 article posted on international journal, 9 articles on domestic journals and various on proceeding of conferences.
Especially, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung honored to be one of three female scientists receiving financial support from VNU to deploy the research project on “Locating the level of development and factors that affect Vietnamese management accounting in the context of global economic integration”.

This year is the 4th consecutive year VNU held the ceremony to honor female scientists/researchers on the international women day of 8th March. This is an incentive award and recognition for efforts and contribution of female lecturers for development of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
